Youth on Course Expands to British Columbia

Golf Canada in partnership with British Columbia Golf is pleased to announce the expansion of Youth on Course to British Columbia.

Youth on Course offers its members aged six to 18 access to golf rounds for $5 or less at participating courses during designated times.

The Youth on Course program will run for the duration of the 2023 golf season at participating golf courses in British Columbia.

Here are your inaugural Youth on Course locations in British Columbia, with more coming soon:

  • Fraserview Golf Course (Vancouver, BC)
  • Queen Elizabeth Pitch & Putt (Vancouver, BC)
  • Musqueam Golf & Learning Academy (Vancouver, BC)
  • Birdies & Buckets Family Golf Centre (Surrey, BC)
  • Meridian Hills Golf (Surrey, BC)
  • Two Eagles Golf Course (Kelowna, BC)
  • Mount Paul Golf Course (Kamloops, BC)
  • Highland Pacific Golf (Victoria, BC)
  • Salt Spring Island Golf Club (Salt Spring Island, BC)


Members will also have access to an international network of more than 2,000 participating golf courses across North America.

How to Join Youth on Course

Existing Golf Canada Junior Members

All current junior members ages 6 to 18 of British Columbia Golf, will automatically receive a Youth on Course membership number via email.

New Members

If your child is not currently a junior member of Golf Canada, you can purchase a membership for them today by following the link below. Please use their name, age, and email address. One of the many benefits of their Golf Canada membership will be access to Youth on Course. Once you have purchased a membership, you will receive a welcome email from Youth on Course within 24 hours with a link to download the YOC Member App. Within the YOC Member App you can access your digital membership card, track your rounds, and find courses in your area.

Frequently Asked Questions

My child has a Golf Canada Membership, but we did not receive an email from Youth on Course, what should I do?

Make sure that their Golf Canada account has their date of birth, address, and an active email address. These fields are required to create a Youth on Course Membership.

How long does my Youth on Course membership last?

Once you sign up for a Golf Canada Membership you can use Youth on Course all season long as many times as you want. A membership is active for 365 days from the date of purchase. Therefore, you will have to renew your Golf Canada Membership in 2024 to access Youth on Course again.

What are the time restrictions?

Check with the course you want to play at, each course has certain times during the week they offer Youth on Course. Click here to view participating locations and their designated YOC availability.

Does my child have to play with a paying adult?

If they are under the age of 12, they will have to play with a paying adult. If they are 12 or older, they can play alone or with a friend but must be course ready and know basic golf etiquette.

At what age does Youth on Course expire?

Youth on Course expires on your 19th birthday.
