Newmark Names Scott Masse as Sagebrush General Manager

LANGLEY, British Columbia — Newmark Golf Group announced that Scott Masse has been named the General Manager of Sagebrush. With the support of Troon Golf, Scott will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of Sagebrush and be accountable for motivating the team to be exceptional, dedicated and passionate about guest satisfaction and achieving identified company goals.

Although having recently worked away from the hospitality industry for a few years, previously Scott spent thirteen years in various leadership roles at Westwood Plateau Golf & Entertainment. Prior to his departure from Westwood Plateau, Scott was the General Manager and responsible for all aspects of the golf, food & beverage and entertainment businesses leading 275 employees in two facilities. At the time, Westwood Plateau was consistently recognized as one of the premier facilities in Canada. In 2002, Golf Digest Magazine and its readers rated Westwood Plateau as having the ‘5th Best Customer Service in North America, Caribbean and Hawaii.’ As rated by the employees, BC Business Magazine and Caliber Leadership Systems recognized Westwood Plateau as British Columbia’s ‘8th Best Company to Work For’ in 2003 and ‘11th Best Company to Work For’ in 2008.
