BC Provincial Titleist Jr Boys Performance Camp Coming To Westwood Plateau G&CC
A BC Provincial Titleist Jr. Boys Performance Camp will be taking place in early October at the Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club for junior aged males who are members in good standing with BC Golf/Golf Canada.

CAMP SELECTION CRITERIA
1. Must be a Junior member of BC Golf/Golf Canada in good standing (Any BC Junior Boy).
2. A Handicap Factor of 5.0 or better. *Please see note below.
3. Commitment to train for Zone, Provincial, National and International competitions and commitment to enter into the 2020 BC Bantam, and/or Juvenile and/or BC Junior Championships.
4. Age eligible: players must be under 19 as of August 1st, 2019
A maximum of 16 players will be selected; British Columbia Golf reserves the right to deny entry into the camp. All selections are done by a committee of 3 or more members.
*Note: Consideration is given to players with a higher handicap factor based on recomendations from Zone Junior Chairs, Zone Committees and regional selection. Example: Players from Zones 1, 7 and 8 would be considered under regional selection or by recommendation. Limited spots available.

Originally from Alberta, Colin Lavers brings a wealth of experience having played and coached locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. A Class ‘A’ Professional with the PGA of Canada, Colin is currently the Head Performance Coach for British Columbia Golf. He also has his own academy, Elevate Golf Performance, that he coaches out of Seymour Golf & Country Club where he has been working for the past 13 years. Finally, Lavers also helps with Simon Fraser University as an Assistant Coach.
Colin has received several awards for his work over the years, including the 2012 PGA of BC Apprentice Professional of the Year and the 2013 Lower Mainland Junior Leader of the Year. Lavers is one of very few golf professionals in Canada who is trained in both Coach New Competitors and Coach Developing Competitors, finishing his CNC Certification in 2013.
Colin now resides in North Vancouver and is married with one child, who loves all sports including golf.
Lindsay Manion is considered one of the top Golf Performance Fitness Coaches in Canada. Lindsay’s background in golf as a Varsity athlete at the University of British Columbia and a student of the Bachelor of Human Kinetics program has led her into some of the top coaching roles in BC. Lindsay is the Lead Fitness Coach at the Tour Performance LAB and a coach to the Men’s and Women’s SFU Golf Program. Lindsay has also worked with UBC Men’s and Women’s golf programs in the past, as well as many local high school golf programs.
Patrick is committed to improve golfers of all skill levels and helping his students achieve their goals. Patrick has honed his teaching skills under the tutelage of many great instructors, including Bob Beachemin who is ranked in the top 50 golf instructors in Canada, and Andy Hilts who has been named top 40 instructors under 40 in the United States.
With over 20,000 lessons taught with the use of video analysis, Patrick is able to teach any learning style, and enable the student to be the best golfer they can be.
