BC Golf Excited To Re-Launch The Very Popular Majors Golf Challenge For 2025
Lasy year British Columbia Golf provided our members a 'free-to-enter' contest that not only offered bragging rights for the winners but some very nice prizes as well.
We had a teriffic response from our members and many commented on how much they enjoyed the ease of entering/playing and of course the opportunity to see how many friends they could outperform with their prognostication skills. Hey, we're all for 'friendly' rivalries in the name of sport and good fun. And it's fun to win once in a while too.
For 2025 we are going to run the Majors Challenge for each of the four men's Major Championships - The Masters, The PGA Championship, The U.S. Open, The Open Championship as well as the RBC Canadian Men's Open and the CPKC Women's Canadian Open.
To kick off the year we will of course be going with golf's long acknowledged rite of spring, The Masters, from April 10 - 13th.
An email reminder will be sent to all registered particpants with the final field to choose from on the Monday of Masters week (April 7th).
Pick a roster of 12 golfers. Your score is the sum of the top 10 golfers on your team. If a golfer is cut then you get a replacement score equal to the worst 4-round score.
Winners will be contacted directly and also posted on the BC Golf website home page.
The top 5 prizes for golf pool results will be:
- 1st place: $200 gift certificate at a BC golf club/facility of your choice
- 2nd place: $100 gift certificate at a BC golf club/facility of your choice
- 3rd place: BC Golf logo'd shirt
- 4th place: 1 doz. Titleist golf balls
- 5th place: BC Golf logo'd hat
