Much of the recent success of the championship can be directly attributed to the quality of the venue, and 2023 will continue that tradition as the championship returns to Capilano Golf and Country Club for the first time in 10 years.
“The Pacific Coast Amateur Championship has a long-standing tradition of combining strong competition and camaraderie among some of the most talented amateur golfers in the world,” said Stephen Butterfield, the club’s President. “The tournament and Capilano share a rich history and we are honoured to again host such a renowned event.”
Troy Andrew, Executive Director of the Pacific Coast Golf Association said, “We are thrilled to be back at Capilano once again for the Pacific Coast Amateur and we are confident that the course will do its part in identifying the best player as our champion this year. The quality of our field and our ability to regularly recruit the game’s best amateur golfers is directly attributed to the reputation and quality of the host venue. We are extremely thankful to the membership of Capilano Golf and Country Club for their support in hosting this championship.”
