Hello Players,

We welcome you to register for the 2022 BC Golf Provincial Training Camp - Western Blind Golf being held at Westwood Plateau, Lago Golf Academy in Coquitlam on April 30th and May 1st.

This camp is open to all BC Blind Competitive Golfers, Men and Women, who are members of BC Golf/Golf Canada in good standing along with their personal coaches/guides.

Goals

Our goal for the BC Golf Provincial Training Camp, is to prepare you for the Western Canadian Blind Golf Championship in Alberta, provide on-course coaching and Golf Canada National Testing Protocol Assesements. Results will be discussed during the camp and provided to you for future reference after the camp.

Camp Instructors

Patrick Lago, Provincial Coach

Patrick learned the great game of golf at the young age of 10 under the encouragement of his father. After a successful junior career in Southern Ontario, he went on to receive a diploma in Professional Golf Management at Humber College in Toronto. He then became a CPGA professional in 2007 and is now a Class “A” Teaching Professional.

Patrick has honed his teaching skills under the tutelage of many great instructors, including Bob Beachemin, who is ranked in the top 50 golf instructors in Canada, and Andy Hilts who has been named top 40 instructors under 40 in the United States.

With over 25,000 lessons taught with award winning golf technology, Patrick is committed to improving golfers of all skill levels and helping his students achieve their goals.

Winnie Yun, Coach/Lago Academy

Winnie started playing golf at the age of 12 under the influence of her father. Following a junior career highlighted by top finishes in provincial level competitions and a win at Manitoba Junior Championship, Winnie joined the UBC Thunderbirds golf team.

During her time on the team, Winnie led the Thunderbirds claim numerous tournament wins including 3 conference and 2 national titles. Winnie looks forward to helping golfers of all ages and skill levels reach their full potential.
