BC’s Chris Crisologo Makes Weekly Top 10 Move While Being Named To National Squad

MEN’S AMATEUR TOP 10
Charles Corner made the biggest gain among the Top-10, picking up 50 spots in the world rankings after finishing sixth at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate. It was his first top 10 result in four tournaments this fall. Corner moved up from No. 9 up to No. 7 in the Canadian rankings.
Chris Crisologo, who was named the youngest member of the Golf Canada National Team, gained 12 spots in the world rankings after finishing third at the Otter Invitational. The senior from Richmond, B.C. has finished in the top three in all four tournaments this fall.
Outside the Top-10, Myles Creighton gained 20 places in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 46th at the Elon Phoenix Invitational. The result, his first non-top 10 finish in four tournaments, moved him to within striking distance of the Top-10, settling in at No. 11.
Also, Dylan Macqueen gained 158 spots in the world rankings following his second career collegiate win at the Elon Phoenix Invitational. Along the way the Woodstock, Ont., golfer set two school records with an 18 hole round of 62 and a 54 hole total of 13 under par. Macqueen moved into the top 20 and sits at No. 17.
Biggest move: Scott Kerr gained 568 spots in the world rankings after finishing tied for 26th at the Otter Invitational. The Simon Fraser University sophomore from Vancouver has a top 10 finish and a win in four tournaments this fall.

WOMEN’S AMATEUR TOP 10
Coquitlam, BC's Jisoo Keel made the biggest gain among the Top-10, picking up 39 spots in the world ranking after finishing in a tie for 65th at the Stanford Intercollegiate. It was the first tournament appearance of the fall for the fifth year senior and former Golf Canada National Squad member
Surrey, BC's Michelle Kim moves back into the Top 10, picking up eight spots in the world rankings this past week.
Outside the Top-10, Kelsey Sear climbed 52 spots to enter the top 20 for the first time at No. 20.
Biggest Move: Julia Henderson gained 121 spots in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 28th at the Bill Berg Invitational.

MEN’S TOP 10
Abbotsford, BC's Nick Taylor continued his strong start to the new PGA season, finishing in a tie for 23rd at The CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges. That result was worth 2.85 world ranking points and Taylor has collected 11.1 world ranking points through the first three events of the new season. The No. 4 ranked Canadian also picked up nine places in the world rankings and has moved up 38 spots over the last four weeks.
Adam Hadwin finished in a tie for 47th at The CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges. The result was worth 1.27 world ranking points for the top ranked Canadian, who slipped just outside the Top 50 in the rankings, down to 51.
Other notable results: No. 2 Graham DeLaet withdrew from The CJ Cup @ Nine Bridges; No. 5 Austin Connelly finished tied for 54th at European Tour Andalucia Valderrama Masters;

WOMEN’S TOP 10
Brooke Henderson slipped one spot outside the Top 10 in the world rankings after finishing in a tie for 27th at the LPGA Swinging Skirts Taiwan Championship.
Alena Sharp climbed back into the top 100, gaining one place in the world rankings after also finishing in a tie for 27th at the Taiwan event.
No. 10 Elizabeth Tong has advanced to the final stage of LPGA Q-School, having finished among the top 80 and ties.
