Crisologo Wins, Clan Take 8th At WWU Invitational

BELLINGHAM, WA – On the final day of the Western Washington Men's Golf Invitational, SFU's Chris Crisologo shot a one-over 73, holding off a charging Andrew Harrison, to take his first win of the season.

Crisologo shot a five-under-par 211 (69-69-73) over the three-round competition, including two eagles, which led the field, and 12 birdies.

UBC's Harrison made it close, capping his two-day run in Washington witha  three-under 69 in the final round, and ending the tournament at four-under par 212 (71-72-69).

Among individuals, Sy Lovan (+4 71-76-73-220) and Kevin Vigna (+7 73-73-77-223) were next up for the Clan, finishing T-28th and T-44th, respectively.

SFU finished eighth in the competition, with the UBC Thunderbirds taking home the top prize. The Clan finished 17 over par, shooting 288, 293, and 300 over the three rounds for a total score of 881. The Thunderbirds finished with a six-under-par 858 (287-282-289).

Following Crisologo's win in Bellingham, the Clan will make the trek down to the Golden State for the Interwest Insurance Wildcat Classic, hosted by the Chico State Wildcats in Chico, CA
