CJGA Team Canada Led By Three From B.C. In Aaron Baddeley Junior Championship

Carlsbad, California - (December 6, 2015) - Sunny skies and warm temperatures greeted members of CJGA Team Canada as they prepare for the 15th annual Aaron Baddeley International Junior Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

The event, which is hosted by PGA Tour professional Aaron Baddeley, will have over 90 juniors competing from around the world including Australia, Asia, and North America.

Also competing at this year's event are national teams from Japan, Australia, Mexico, USA and Canada. The six member squad of CJGA Team Canada is made up of juniors from across Canada who earned their spot through national qualifiers conducted back in the fall.

Canada will be looking to improve their finished from last year after finishing sixth. "We are excited to be here and competing again at the ABIJC. The course is in great shape and will be a challenge for the players" said CJGA Team Canada Manager John Lawrence. "The Baddeley family put on a great event and we are grateful for the opportunity they provide to Canadian junior golfers."

In addition to the team players, CJGA will also being represented by four individual players who also earn invitations based on their performance at the national qualifiers.

The Aaron Baddeley International Junior Golf Championship is truly a remarkable event. Beyond being a great cultural and competitive experience, the event also provides juniors the experience of competing in a professional tour event. The winning boy and girl also receive paid exemptions into the 2016 Women's Australian Open and 2016 Australian Open.
