Have you ever wanted to try golf, but didn’t know where to start?
This June, the PGA of BC Women’s Golf Celebration presented by adidas Golf Canada is making it easier than ever for women across British Columbia to give the game a try in a welcoming, beginner-friendly environment.
Participating golf facilities around the province are hosting entry-level clinics designed for women who are new to golf, curious about the sport, or looking for a comfortable way to take their first swing.
Each clinic is led by a PGA of BC professional: a trained golf instructor who helps players learn the game in a fun, supportive and approachable setting. No experience is required, and participants do not need to own golf clubs or have a golf background to take part.
Clinics are approximately 60 minutes long and cost $30 + GST per person. Class sizes are kept small, giving participants the chance to learn the basics, ask questions and move at their own pace.
The PGA of BC Women’s Golf Celebration is a province-wide initiative held each June to help grow participation in golf among women and girls across British Columbia. In addition to the beginner clinics, many facilities will also be hosting other women’s golf events throughout the month.
The PGA of BC gratefully acknowledges adidas Golf Canada, presenting sponsor of the Women’s Golf Celebration since 2024, for its continued support of women’s golf in British Columbia. Adidas Golf Canada is proud to award four bursaries each year to support women's golf programming and events at PGA of BC facilities.
Registration for beginner clinics is now open, with space available on a first-come, first-served basis. A confirmation email with payment instructions will be sent upon registration.
Whether you’ve never held a club before or have always wondered what golf is all about, this is a chance to try the game in a friendly, low-pressure setting. We encourage you to share information on the clinics with your networks and to invite your friends!
