Vancouver, B.C. – Via Press Release - British Columbia Golf is proud to announce that Conner Kozak has been selected as Head Coach for Team BC at the 2025 Canada Summer Games taking place August 18-25 in St. John’s Newfoundland and Labrador...
Held every four years, the Canada Summer Games represent the pinnacle of junior amateur athletics in the country. The Games unite top athletes, coaches and support staff from each province and territory in a multi-sport event designed to mirror the experience of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Conner brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the role. BC Golf's CEO Kris Jonasson is excited about what he can bring to the position, "We are very pleased to have a coach with the qualifications of Conner leading our Canada Games Team. He is following in very successful footsteps but is surely up to the task.”
Kozak currently serves as the Performance Coach for the Okanagan Squad for Team BC as well as being the Lead Academy Coach at the Okanagan Golf Club. His track record of excellence includes being named the 2019 PGA of BC Jack McLaughlin Junior Coach of the Year and the 2021 PGA of BC Jack Westover Coach of the Year.
This will mark Conner’s first appearance as Head Coach at the Canada Summer Games. He will guide a talented four-person team as they look to defend Team BC’s remarkable podium sweep from the 2022 Games held in Niagara Falls.
“I’m honoured and excited to be named Head Coach for Team BC,” said Conner. “We’re focused on assembling a strong team and preparing for the opportunity to defend our title in St. John’s.”
BC Golf congratulates Conner on this well-deserved appointment and looks forward to supporting him and Team BC in their pursuit of excellence at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.
