British Columbia Golf is very pleased to announce the two recipients of the Volunteer Recognition Awards, both from Zone 5 in Victoria, Wendy Swonnell, the Women's Chair of Cedar Hill Ladies Social and Debbie Needham, Rules Chair for Zone 5 Women, Olympic View GC.
Both were honoured at recent AGM gatherings and received framed VRA certificates, a custom-designed BC Golf Haida Gold Medal, BC Golf Service Award pins and a letter of congratulations & thank you from BC Golf President, Shauna Wilton.
It is always a pleasure to recognize the wonderful volunteers without whom British Columbia Golf could not operate due to these unselfish and giving individuals who contribute so much of their time to help continue to both maintain and grow golf, truly a game for 'life'.
