PITT MEADOWS, August 7, 2025 — The Zone 5 team of Mike Mannion, Brian Murphy, and Kenneth Rowan secured a third-place finish at the 2025 BC Men’s Senior and Super-Senior Championship at Pitt Meadows Golf Club with a two-day total of 304 (+16).

Zone 5 posted identical rounds of 152 on both days, edging out Zone 2 by one stroke to claim the final podium position in the competitive Zone Team contest.

Mike Mannion, 59, from Victoria, led the way for Zone 5 with rounds of 74 and 74. On Day 1, he recorded 11 pars, 2 birdies, and 5 bogeys. His second round was similarly consistent, including 12 pars, 2 birdies, and 4 bogeys.

Kenneth Rowan, 60, also from Victoria, contributed rounds of 78 and 78. His first round featured 10 pars, 1 birdie, and 7 bogeys. On Day 2, he tallied 10 pars, 1 birdie, and 7 bogeys once again, showing steady form across both days.

Brian Murphy, 62, another Victoria resident, carded rounds of 78 and 83, with his opening round contributing to the team total. That first round included 8 pars, 1 birdie, and 9 bogeys.

Zone 5’s third-place result kept Vancouver Island represented near the top of the standings in this prestigious senior championship.
