VICTORIA, July 17, 2025 — Uplands Golf Club is ramping up promotion of its annual Heart Tournament Prize Lottery and 50/50 Draw, in support of the Victoria Hospitals Foundation. The club is encouraging golfers, sponsors, and supporters to help raise the profile of the long-running fundraiser by donating prizes or purchasing tickets ahead of the August 17 deadline.
The Uplands Heart Tournament, held annually since 1978, has raised over $3.4 million for the Royal Jubilee Hospital’s Heart Health program. Its legacy as B.C.’s longest running and most successful charity golf tournament continues to grow through community support and charitable engagement.
As part of the 2025 Play Fore Hearts campaign, proceeds will help fund leading-edge cardiac equipment at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Over 200,000 people receive cardiac care each year at Victoria’s Royal Jubilee and General hospitals, with about 700 cardiac surgeries performed annually. This year’s raffle prizes include:
• Fairmont Chateau Whistler Getaway – Three-night stay at the iconic alpine resort with world-class amenities.
• Tofino Getaway – Two nights at Pacific Sands Beach Resort on Cox Bay with direct beach access and coastal serenity.
• Victoria Golf Getaway – Two-night stay at Hotel Grand Pacific and rounds for four at Uplands, Victoria Golf Club, and Gorge Vale.
• Comox Valley Golf Getaway – Two nights at Crown Isle Resort, with golf at Crown Isle and Campbell River Golf Club.
