RICHMOND, BC, August 25, 2025 —(CMAC), a national honour recognizing exemplary leadership in Canada’s club industry.
To be eligible for the prestigious award, nominees must be Professional Members of CMAC in good standing, hold senior management positions, and demonstrate sustained high-level performance at their clubs. The criteria also require the manager to be respected by members, executives, and peers, to mentor and support team development, promote diversity and inclusion, and make personal contributions to their communities through volunteer or charitable work.
Lambert, who joined Richmond Country Club in 2021, cDaniel Lambert, General Manager and COO of Richmond Country Club, has been named Club Manager of the Year by the Club Management Association of Canada redited his team and professional community for his success.
“I’m incredibly grateful... This award reflects your hard work, commitment, and focus on delivering exceptional member experiences every day,” Lambert said.
He also emphasized the significance of the nomination itself:
“I was deeply humbled to be nominated by Brian Mossop (Shaughnessy Golf Club), Larry Ho (Arbutus Club), and our own Suri Ramachandran, Director of People and Culture. Their thoughtful consideration means more to me than I can express.”
Lambert extended appreciation to CMAC’s leadership, the Richmond Country Club Board and Club President Sherri Barkoff, and the executive search firm GGA Partners™, which helped place him in his current role.
