Prince George Raises $27K for Cardiac Care
Prince George, BC – June 23, 2025 – The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation’s 25th annual charity golf event at Prince George Golf & Curling Club drew over 100 participants—including teams from City Furniture, Ashley Furniture, and RBC—raising approximately $27,000 to support improved cardiac care in Northern BC.
“Right now, cardiac care remains one of the biggest gaps in care that we see in Northern BC,” said Aimee Cassie, CEO of Spirit of the North.
RBC also donated $1,000, and participants donated additional funds during the event.
“Events like this truly are the heart of Spirit,” Cassie added.

Couple Tops at Prince Rupert His & Hers Tourney

Cops for Cancer Golf Tournament Debuts in PG
Prince George, BC – June 8, 2025 – The first-ever Cops for Cancer Tour de North charity golf event teed off at Alder Hills Golf Course with police, community supporters, and RCMP riders. The event featured silent auctions, long-drive contests, and even caddie services by Prince George Kodiaks players. Participating golfers and sponsors rallied together to support both the charity and the upcoming cross-region cycling challenge.
Fort St. John Senior Flyers Golf Banquet
