Sunshine Amateur Returns to Kamloops Golf & Country Club August 15–17
The 64th Annual Sunshine Amateur is set to take place from August 15–17, 2025 at the Kamloops Golf & Country Club. Open to players with a valid Golf Canada handicap, this year’s event promises high-level competition and laid-back camaraderie over a full weekend of action.
The men’s-only tournament will follow a 36-hole stroke play format (gross and net), with set tee times for all players. Participants can expect meals, prizes, and a Travis Mathew tee gift valued at $175, with Travis Mathew also on-site Saturday offering exclusive gear for purchase using gift cards.
Festivities begin Friday with a free afternoon practice round (after 12 p.m.), followed by the traditional Friday night Horse Race. Revelstoke, B.C. – mid‑July 2025 — Revelstoke Golf Club has unveiled a full lineup of community-centred tournaments and junior programming for this season, setting the stage for a busy summer on the Columbia Park layout.
The 2025 Senior Open, open to players aged 50+, is scheduled for August 7, with a one-day format and a cap at 72 participants. Entry is $70 for members and $90 for non-members. Prizes, longest‑drive and KP contests, and lunch included.

Fairview Mountain to Host Mixed-Gender 6-Person Scramble for SOSS Enrichment Fund
Oliver, B.C. — June 25, 2025 Fairview Mountain Golf Club is preparing to welcome golfers for a lively day of community fun and fundraising at the 2025 SOSS Enrichment Fund Golf Tournament, set for Saturday, August 9.
One of the most unique events of the season, the tournament features a 6-person scramble format with teams composed of three men and three women. The day begins with a 2:00 PM shotgun start, and includes a full lineup of activities such as a ball draw, 50/50 draw, live auction, and betting.
“All proceeds support the SOSS Enrichment Fund,” organizers shared in their official announcement, adding that the event helps enhance educational and extracurricular opportunities for students at Southern Okanagan Secondary School.

Osoyoos Golf Club Hosts Early Tournaments and Canada-Themed Celebration
Osoyoos Golf Club kicked off its 2025 season in early March and has already hosted several standout events, including the 31st Annual TOTA Golf Tournament on June 5.
The event featured the debut of the “Ohhhh Canada Cup,” with teams dressed in patriotic outfits and prizes for the most spirited Canadian looks.
“This is a fun, spirited way to bring our tourism partners together,” said Ellen Walker-Matthews, CEO of TOTA.
The club also hosted the popular Senior Men’s Rattlesnake Open from April 14–16, offering players aged 50+ two days of sun, sand, and competition on the desert-style layout.
