In honour of Take Your Dog to Work Day, and maybe the first day of summer too, here are a couple of photos of Hazel hard at work with our amazing Greens crew. She’s a true professional…coming to work with Wade every day. Posted June 20th on Uplands Golf Club Facebook Page.

Highland Pacific Golf is teeing up a summer of fun with Junior Camps led by Cooper Alexander, who recently showed off his coaching style on Instagram by swinging a junior club himself—and landing a great shot. Open to kids of all skill levels, the camps promise expert instruction in a relaxed, supportive setting. A great way for young players to build skills and confidence. Big Wins, New Tech, and Family Fun at Arbutus Ridge

Arbutus Ridge Golf Club is buzzing this season with exciting programming, thrilling tournaments, and cutting-edge upgrades. The club recently launched its Wednesday Night Junior Program, offering young golfers weekly after-school instruction in a welcoming, skill-building environment. To complement the coaching, Arbutus Ridge also debuted a new indoor golf simulator, providing members and guests a high-tech way to practice year-round—perfect for rainy Cowichan Valley days.

On the tournament front, father-son teams dominated the inaugural Arbutus Ridge 2-Ball, where Scott and William Kral (below left) scorched the field with a −19 gross total to win outright. Brett and Sam Parhar clinched the net title at −25, making it a family affair to remember and setting a high bar for future editions.

In the 2025 Arbutus Ridge Amateur, Declan Riddle (below right) claimed victory with a final-round 69, finishing even par and edging out Gary Pike by a shot. Neal Baghwanani won net honours with a 135 (-5).
