The 64th Annual Sunshine Amateur is set to take place from August 15–17, 2025 at the Kamloops Golf & Country Club. Open to players with a valid Golf Canada handicap, this year’s event promises high-level competition and laid-back camaraderie over a full weekend of action.

Participants can expect meals, prizes, and a Travis Mathew tee gift valued at $175, with Travis Mathew also on-site Saturday offering exclusive gear for purchase using gift cards.

Festivities begin Friday with a free afternoon practice round (after 12 p.m.), followed by the traditional Friday night Horse Race. Saturday brings a skills contest and lunch, with Sunday's round followed by dinner. Hole-in-one prizes are available both days, and optional bonus games like the $20 Deuce Pot add to the fun.

Entry fees are $250 for members and $325 for non-members. Registration is open to the public, with a maximum field of 120 players.

“It’s not just golf—it’s a chance to relax, bond, and have a blast with the guys,” organizers say.
