Granite Pointe Golf Club is running smoothly despite uncertainty surrounding a proposed redevelopment by Hallo Properties and U.S.-based golf management company Troon.

At the club’s May 26 AGM, president Am Naqvi and director Corbin Comishin said they are operating under the assumption that the 106-year-old course will remain open through the fall, even though Hallo previously suggested renovations might shorten the season.

Hallo, which purchased 17.5 acres of the course in 2023, has until June 2026 to exercise a lease option with Troon to redesign the course. If no redevelopment occurs, the club has set aside $500,000 from the land sale for modest course upgrades.

The proposed development includes a $500M masterplan with a new course layout, housing, a clubhouse, restaurants, and a spa—but no construction date has been announced.
