For the first time, Burnaby’s Riverway Golf Course is hosting the BC Amateur Championship. In addition to the tournament, the community can get involved with various activities during the Burnaby Golf Festival.
Burnaby is the centre of golf in the province from July 13 to 16 as it hosts the BC Amateur Championship, with more than 150 athletes competing at the Riverway Golf Course. For 124 years, this championship has crowned the best amateur golfers in the province. Past champions of this provincial event have gone on to win on the PGA TOUR including BC's own Nick Taylor, Adam Hadwin and Adam Svensson to name a few.
