The lead story this week is the crowning of the newest Provincial Champion as Todd Wiseman claimed his first BC Senior Men's Championship at Pitt Meadows GC. A big part of the the event was how the tournament committee handled a 2nd round weather delay deciding to go with a shotgun start.
Cedar Hill GC in Victoria played host to a PGA of BC regional final with Myrtle Point coming out on top. In our last newsletter we had just learned of the passing of Vancouver Island golf stalwart, Ray Henry. We have an In Memoriam for Ray in this edition.
Nationally, Team BC successfully defended their Team Title in the Canadian Women's Mid-Am in Quebec while BC's Nonie Marler was runner-up in the individual tournament after losing a 3-hole playoff to Ontario's Judith Kyrinis.
