In this edition of the British Columbia Golf newsletter, BC Golf's Brad Ziemer returns for some championship coverage which kicked off with interviewing Nanoose Bay's Shelly Stouffer as she collected her 7th consecutive BC Sr. Women's Championship at Tsawwassen's Beach Grove GC.

We also have wrap-ups of our BC Men's Mid-Amateur hosted by Richmond's Quilchena GC and our All Abilities Championship from Fraserview GC in Vancouver.

Three British Columbia juniors are headed to USGA national championships this summer after a dramatic day at Chilliwack Golf Club on Monday, June 8th. The trio will tee it up for the 78th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from July 20-25.

Sticking with BC's burgeoning young stars, Vancouver's Anna Huang, already a 3-time winner on the Ladies European Tour, is the subject of a Golf Canada story written by Andrew Foscarin just before her appearance in the recent U.S. Women's Open in Los Angeles.

BC Golf travelled Northwest to Terrace BC, to help facilitate the first Zone 7 Junior Championship in several years. The Championship was played at the beautiful Skeena Valley Golf Club. The event saw a solid turnout and also qualified players for this summer's BC Summer Games coming to Kelowna next month.
