| In this edition of the British Columbia Golf newsletter Brad Ziemer took some time to connect with one of BC's bright young stars, Austin Krahn, from Christina Lake. Austin defended his BC Junior Boys and BC Indigenous titles last year while adding the BC Amateur for his 3rd provincial championship over a 3 consecutive-week span last summer. Krahn is now headed south to NCAA Div. 1 Liberty University this fall as he takes the next step in what he plans to be his route to the PGA TOUR. With the BC Golf championship season coming up fast, we have the official announcements of our host venues for the BC Men's Mid-Amateur, Junior Boys Championship, Indigenous BC Championship as well as the Senior Women's & Women's Amateur/Mid-Amateur events. British Columbia Golf extends heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful facilities who offer their courses and hospitality in hosting these championships. Without their partnerships these events could not be held and BC Golf is pleased to help showcase what outstanding layouts this province has to offer.
