In this edition of the BC Golf Province-Wide Newsletter, Brad Ziemer brings you his latest BC Golf Notes, including a look at how two BC golfers earned their PGA TOUR card for 2026 in the final stage of PGA TOUR Q-School.
Coquitlam's A.J. Ewart was the overall winner of the 4-round final stage and he spoke with Brad following his impressive victory. Joining Ewart after his T2 finish is Surrey's Adam Svensson who played solidly to re-earn his Tour card after losing full status at the end of last season.
Still with Q-schools, BC's Leah John earned her LPGA Tour card with a T10 finish in the final stage. Brad spoke with a very emotional John after she realized a lifelong dream.
You can find out who the newest members of Golf Canada's national squads are for 2026 including a number of representatives from British Columbia. And as 'off-course' golf becomes a bigger part of today's golf landscape we bring you some of the exciting options available along with searchable links for facilities in BC.
You'll also find some information on rules education & what to get for Christmas for the golfers in your life.
Lastly and by no means least we are saddened to have to report on the passing of a wonderful contributor to golf in our province as past Distinguished Service Award recipient Margaret (Peggy) Wright left us in late November.
