The lead story this week is the crowning of the newest Provincial Champion as Todd Wiseman claimed his first BC Senior Men's Championship at Pitt Meadows GC. A big part of the the event was how the tournament committee handled a 2nd round weather delay deciding to go with a shotgun start.
Meanwhile, the Zone 4 Sr. Men's team were dominant in their victory at the Sr. Men's Championship. Also, a potential shift is on the horizon for Zone 4 Women’s Team 1 Interclub league.
Nationally, Team BC successfully defended their Team Title in the Canadian Women's Mid-Am in Quebec while BC's Nonie Marler was runner-up in the individual tournament after losing a 3-hole playoff to Ontario's Judith Kyrinis.
