Lower Mainland - Zone 3 Newsletter - 08.08.25

The lead story this week is the crowning of the newest Provincial Champion as Todd Wiseman claimed his first BC Senior Men's Championship at Pitt Meadows GC. A big part of the the event was how the tournament committee handled a 2nd round weather delay deciding to go with a shotgun start.

In the Zone Team competition, Zone 3 battled Zone 4 and came out as the overall runners-up in the event.

Be sure to check out the Youth on Course 100 Hole Hike – a day packed with fun, challenge and purpose at the GreenTee Westwood Plateau GC.

Nationally, Team BC successfully defended their Team Title in the Canadian Women's Mid-Am in Quebec while BC's Nonie Marler was runner-up in the individual tournament after losing a 3-hole playoff to Ontario's Judith Kyrinis.
