The lead story this week is the crowning of the newest Provincial Champion as Todd Wiseman claimed his first BC Senior Men's Championship at Pitt Meadows GC. A big part of the the event was how the tournament committee handled a 2nd round weather delay deciding to go with a shotgun start. The PGA of BC held a regional final of the Pro-Junior event at Michaelbrook Golf Course in Kelowna while the Crowe family had something to 'crow about' as both father Jesse and son DJ captured golf titles just two days apart in separate Okanagan events. Nationally, Team BC successfully defended their Team Title in the Canadian Women's Mid-Amateur in Quebec while BC's Nonie Marler was runner-up in the individual tournament after losing a 3-hole playoff to Ontario's Judith Kyrinis.
