The lead story this week is the crowning of the newest Provincial Champion as Todd Wiseman claimed his first BC Senior Men's Championship at Pitt Meadows GC. A big part of the the event was how the tournament committee handled a 2nd round weather delay deciding to go with a shotgun start. The PGA of BC Pro-Junior held it's regional finals with the Kootenays event at Windermere Valley GC. Nationally, Team BC successfully defended their Team Title in the Canadian Women's Mid-Am in Quebec while BC's Nonie Marler was runner-up in the individual tournament after losing a 3-hole playoff to Ontario's Judith Kyrinis.
