From The Editors May 20, 2025

In this edition of BC Golf's newsletter we're pleased to include the announcement of the 2025 Team BC Regional Teams. A new concept that sees players from the areas of Vancouver Island, Metro Vancouver, The North Shore and The Okanagan being led by regional Team BC Coaches.

The four squads and their coaches were formally announced on April 28th at the Quilchena Golf & Country Club in Richmond.

Managing Director of Player Development Debbie Pyne and Program Assistant Elizabeth Dunn have worked hand-in-hand for many years with the BC Coaches, juniors and parents to get BC players to the top of the leaderboard and their success over the past 20 years is extremely impressive:

 - 43 National Interprovincial Team Titles (2001-2024)

 - 33 National Individual Titles (2001-2024)

 - 12 Golds won by BC at Canada Summer Games (2009-2022)

 - The most GOLD medals by any province

Their message to this newly assembled group; "We are thrilled to have you join a team dedicated to pushing the limits of excellence, both on and off the course."

Along with this announcement you'll find bios of the players and coaches and an inspiring short video from the day as well as separate articles that include Brad Ziemer's latest BC Golf Notes, details on the upcoming BC Women's Open.

Enjoy your golf and stay safe everyone.
