Grizzly Golf Tour Announces 2018 Special Fall Tourneys

Burnaby, B.C. - The Grizzly Golf Tour will host two golf tournaments this fall at Kensington Park Pitch & Putt course in Burnaby that will include both junior and adult golfers.

The Kensington Open on September 30th and the Boonaby Halloween Open on October 28th will feature two fun, competitive days of golf. Low gross medals and prizes will be presented to winners in each age division. There will also be prizes awarded for closest-to-the-pin, hole-in-ones and a reverse scorecard draw.

The Boonaby Halloween Open on October 28th will feature a Halloween theme. Prizes will be awarded to the golfer with the best costume and best face make-up. Caddy’s are allowed and also encouraged to dress up for the day.

“These will be two fun and competitive tournaments,” said Tournament Manager Brad Ewart. “Kensington is a very good par three course that has a core group of adults who have been asking GGT to set up a tournament for them. The adults will tee off first followed by the juniors.”

Everyone who enters wins a prize. Cost of the tournament is $35. Players can register for the tournaments online at www.grizzlygolftour.com.

Age divisions for the adults are as follows: Amateur 19-24; Mid-Amateur 25-49 and Senior 50 +. The junior division includes: Novice 8 & under; Peewee 11-12; Bantam 13-14; Juvenile 15-16 and Junior 17-18.
