The Winners have been drawn for the contest for tickets to the U.S. Open next week.
More than 1400 British Columbia Golf members entered for the chance to win a pair of tickets to watch the final round of the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay and the Grand Prize winner was David Proctor.
Three runners-up were also drawn where the first drawn receives a pair of tickets for their choice of Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, the second drawn has the choice between the remaining two and the third would receive the remaining pair.
The first runner up was Peter Bruce, the second was Tyson Palmer and the third Morris Ergas. Congratulations to all of you!

How The Winners Were Selected...
The winners were chosen using a random number generator.
A day, hour and minute from the period that the contest was active was selected as follows:
The first number selected was for the day where:
Thursday = 1
Friday = 2
Saturday = 3
Sunday = 4
The second was for the hour of the day chosen which was split into 24 hours where:
12:00 AM to 12:59 AM = 1
1:00 AM to 1:59AM = 2
and so on
The third was for the hour selected which was split into 60 minutes where:
0:00 to 0:59 = 1
1:00 to 1:59 = 2
and so on
The entry email that was received closest to that time would be the winner (note the time that the email was received may be later than the time sent).
This was done four times, the first time for the Grand Prize of two tickets to the Sunday of the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay and then three more times for the runner-up prizes of the choice of a pair of tickets for either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
The First Runner-Up will get their choice of day, the second will choose between the two remaining and the third receives the remaining day.

Based on this, the Grand Prize Time was Thursday, June 4th at 11:27 PM.
The person coming closest was David Proctor who entered at 11:26 !

Second Runner Up - Thursday, June 4th at 12:33 PM (*note that there were 7 emails received during this one minute period and those seven went into a draw)
Third Runner Up - Friday, June 5th at 1:06 PM
