From The Editors July 17th, 2017

In this edition of your British Columbia Golf newsletter we have wrap-ups on three more of British Columbia Golf's Championships, the Junior Girls, Junior Boys and the Mid-Amateur/Mid-Master for both men & women. As well we have a look ahead from Brad Ziemer at the upcoming BC Amateur this week being held at Morgan Creek Golf Club in Surrey.

There's also a very interesting piece on the proposed new World Handicap system that includes a survey asking for feedback from people involved with golf around the world. Be sure to give it a read and provide your answers in the attached survey.

For news on what BC golfers have been up to locally and around the world, one of the best sources is of course Brad Ziemer's BC Golf Notes, and you can see the latest edition of those below.

We also want to continue to remind everyone that the officlal 'Get Out And Play' program, which is designed to help British Columbians celebrate Canada's 150th Birthday by registering to take part in golf activities over a 150 day period, is now live through our website and you can register each time you participate in a golf related activity to help us reach our goal of '150,000 British Columbians partaking in 1.5 million golf activities in a span of 150 days.'

As always, if you have any thoughts or suggestions on topics you'd like to see appear in your newsletter please send a message via the "Contact Us" button located top right on the website home page.
